Thanks to those offering their support and prayers to those in need. TW I'm so glad to hear you're finally home in your own comfort zone. That in itself helps your mind to jumpstart the body on its road to recovery. Stay kewl and God bless!

Today my daughter and ten year old grandson will be coming over to spend the weekend with me. She is setting up camp in my backyard and I'll be in my element helping her set up plus just enjoying the great outdoors. Really excited and can hardly wait.

Hmmm, a little catch up. I'm doing well as an old codger can. Friend Dave is playing hospital hop scotch, but home now. I am gardening, doing post winter yard stuff, repairs on the old house, roofing, siding, paint yada, yada. Just enjoying a very strange spring in okie land? No tornados or bad storms. Just nice weather. Gotta run, see yall.

Ray's also been on Forged in Fire twice. He's the guy in overalls and a red bandanna. Mike is making sheaths for the Panabas sword Ray forged on the show along with several other sized swords. I was at Mikes the other day and held that big ol knife. It's pretty cool. I liked the intermediate sized one best. So now you know Mike runs with the big dogs who run with the bigger dogs.

Last week Dr said my eye pressure was good enough I could travel so we came to KY to see Grandkids
If I was there he would be taking me off of my eye drops next week, but since I came here I have to stay on 2 drops at bedtime until I see him when I get back on the 4th
We are planning to go to the Crater of Diamonds Nat Park in AK while we are here and hunt for diamonds, no expectation of finding anything significant, but the kids will like it as there is quartz, jasper and other gems there as well.

Today my niece had a high school graduation celebration in honor of her daughter. About fifty guests of family and friends showed up to share in her joy of a great accomplishment.
And what do you buy to feed all these people, crawfish of course. One hundred forty-seven pounds to be exact, along with all the fixings thrown in with them. Would you believe there may have been about three pounds that didn't get eaten. No waste though, the left overs get peeled for another meal.
After eating the kids all played with various games and toys in my niece's school and some of us adults played a friendly card game of Pedro, then Boure'. Great food! Great company! Great Day!

Red Letter Day !!!!
I'm soooo very happy. My grandson in the Army who was stationed in Poland flew back to the good old USA today. He's back at his old base stomping grounds in Kansas. Pretty soon he'll be moving again to Fort Polk and starting a new adventure in the medical field.
Thank you Jesus and God Bless America!

That's great news. Ft Riley to Ft Polk. Hmmmm. Haven't been to Riley since 1081. Polk is now a joint ops base I think. He should be busy there. Glad he's closer. D
