Just a work update. They have outlined our contingency plans for beer flu. We will continue to run current schedule (continuous operations) until we are at 50% staffed then they will switch to 8hr shifts five days a week unless we get down to 25% at which time they will suspend operations for one week. If we have a positive test, they have already contracted two cleaning companies to come in over three days to sanitize any areas the employee frequented. Kinda sounds to me like they really dont five a rats ass about us as long as we produce plates. Funny thing, this morning there were six trailers parked in the employee lot. That and witnessing an estimated 50 to 60% of the trucks entering are for a local warehouse makes me wonder what plans they have not told us about updated edit: So today after lunch they passed out small whiteboards and dry erase markers so we can communicate while on the floor and stay 6ft apart......This has to be the silliest thing I have ever seen. 100+ people playing Pictionary all day. I just wrote 'do not disturb' on mine and stuck it in the top of my toolbox. management is working from home. Every day we get a new email from some corporate hack telling us how much our safety means to them and they understand our family concerns....as they send this stuff out from their kitchen table. Today it was how they are trying to procure masks for us all to wear. Three of us were kicked out of our shop for not going to the break room for break- where there are 36 other people taking breaks. Something tells me they didn't think this through very well
